Signature of Rabbi Dov Zev Hacohen Rappaport on the Malbim's sefer Artzos Hachaim.
The sefer had previously belonged to Rabbi Dov Zev Hacohen's father, Rabbi Yisrael Hacohen Rappaport, who was the Av Beis Din of Pinczow and Alexander and a follower of Rabbi Yitzchak of Varki and his son the Rabbi of Amshinov.
The sefer is a first edition, printed in Bresloy 1835.
Rabbi Dov Zev Hacohen Rappaport was the Av Beis Din of Kutzk and a tremendous Torah scholar. He was a direct descendant of the Shach and the son-in-law of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kutzk.
There is an additional signature by Rabbi Yaakov David Biederman, Av Beis Din of Visegrad and author of Hagahos Maharid on Toras Kohanim. Rabbi Biederman was one of the leading Torah giants of Kutzk and was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yechezkel of Kozhnitz, son-in-law of the Kozhnitzer Maggid.
