הערכה: $40,000 - $60,000

A letter handwritten by the Chidushei Harim in which he joins Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kutzk in his request that Rabbi Ephraim Fishel Hacohen, son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Moshe of Lelov, be appointed Rabbi of Shtekchin.

The Kutzker's opinion was written by the illustrious Rabbi Tzvi Hirsh of Tomashov, his confidant and close disciple, in the year 1856, and is signed "Tvi Hirsh Lieble from the home of the Rabbi of Kutzk Shlit”a."
Written during the last three years of the Kutzker's life at a time when it is known that he was completely secluded, this outstanding letter makes it clear that the holy Kotzker was indeed involved in public matters and made his opinion known.
The Chidushei Harim was one of the spiritual giants among the Kutzker chassidim and the successor of his Rabbi, the Kutzker. His followers numbered in the thousands and he is the father of the Gur Dynasty.
