Handwritten letter from Rabbi Naftali Yehuda Berlin, Av Beis Din and Rosh Mesivta of Vhalozhin, written to his son, Rabbi Chaim Berlin. 

Early Autograph letter, dated 1857. (The Netziv was only 41 years old.) In it, the Netziv writes about the great merit of those who support Torah learning, as well as updates regarding those soliciting for the Vhaloziner yeshivah, Torah thoughts and more.

Rabbi Naftali Yehuda Berlin (1816 – 1893), also known as the Netziv, was the son-in-law of Rabbi Yitzchak of Volozhin, Rosh Yeshivah of Volozhin. He succeeded his father-in-law and served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Volozhin for forty years.
