A long letter written in the year 1912 explaining a hard gemara in tractate Avodah Zarah, from Rabbi Yosef Elazar Rosenfeld, Av Beis Din of Freistadtel.

Rabbi Yosef Elazar Rosenfeld (aprox. 1843 – 1919) was the son-in-law of the renowned Rabbi Yisrael Yitzchak Aaron Landesberg who was Av Beis Din of Grosswardein and an illustrious disciple of the Chasam Sofer. He was a disciple of the Ksav Sofer, served as the Av Beis Din of Freistadtel and authored Ateres Tzvi on the Torah as well Chavos Yar on Tanach and Chazal.
