A long and interesting letter by Rabbi Mordechai Gimpel Yaffe against the Heter Mechira 1889, copied by Rabbi Aryeh Levin.

מחיר פתיחה: $500

הערכה: $750 - $1,000

A letter sent to his son-in-law Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Volk, with fascinating details of the Jewish settlement in Palestine and the conditions in Jerusalem particularly regarding Shemitah.

4 large pages copied entirely by Rabbi Aryeh Levin who signed his first name at the end of the letter. RMGY writes extensively about his fears regarding the observance of the Sabbatical year and expresses his joy at the fact that the moshavim whom he met excepted upon themselves the prohibition imposed by the rabbis of Jerusalem on the Heter Mechirah.
