(21) pages. Size 16×22 cm. water stains and slight damages on the text with restorations. An impressive leather cover.
On page (20a) the owners quote: I am Aharon the young one dai shigura NR"V- a family of Rabbis and Known printers in Izmir.
On Page (11a) in the title, the name of the composition is "Megaleh Tzifonot" Indeed the teachings were written in the book "Megaleh Tzifonot" section , it was later printed in Izmir in the year 1857.
"The righteous and holy Rabbi Eliyahu Hakohen Haitamari from Izmir from the great preachers of his generations, He was a shining wonder of the Rabbis of Izmir. He wrote more then 30 compositions and he brought back many people to repentance by his many speeches" –testimony of the chid"a. He was known and awed by both the scholars of the Ashkenazim and Sefaradim. Specifically , his first book "Shevet Mussar" that had countless editions.
Baal "Shevet Mussar" died of old age in the year 1729.He now lies in the Jewish cemetery in Izmir
