The bottom third of the letter concerns his comments on the Rema MiPano’s sefer Ma’amar HaNefesh.

Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky’s signature appears on this letter twice.

Rabbi Meir Dan Plotzky (1867-1928) was renowned throughout the world for his sefer Klei Chemdah, which was embraced by the Torah community. He was a prominent Polish rabbi and did much to better the lives of Polish Jewry. He assisted in the establishment of Agudas Yisrael. He was a disciple of the Avnei Nezer and a follower of the Sfas Emes and the Imrei Emes.
