Published by the grandchildren of the Slavita Rav, Harav Chanina Lipa and Harav Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, who were partners in the famed Jewish printing press in Zhitomir.

This edition is unlisted in any bibliography and has no copies in Jerusalem’s National Library.
This Kinos belonged to the Admor Harav Yidele Horowitz of Dzikov. Both the beginning and end of the sefer feature his autograph.

Hagaon Harav Yehuda Horowitz of Dzikov (1905-1989) was the son of the previous Dzikover Rebbe, Harav Alter Horowitz. Reb Yidele, as he was popularly known, was a genius and illustrious Torah scholar who shunned the limelight and refused any show of honor or reverence. His exceptional character and fiery tefillos were legendary, and his written legacy includes Mishnas Yehudah and Gilyon Mahar”i, among others.
