Handwritten and signed letter from Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn, addressed to his daughter, Rebbetzin Chava (Chuhani), wife of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Husiatyn.

Rabbi Yisrael begins his letters with the words: "My dear and beloved daughter Chuhani" and concludes with the words, "Be well. From me, your father who wishes you only good, Yisrael."
Rebbetzin Chaya Sara, daughter of Rabbi Yisrael and wife of the Admor Rabbi Yaakov of Husiatyn, included her own handwritten letter to her sister at the end of the letter.

Rabbi Yisrael Friedman (1858–1949) was the son of Rabbi Mordechai Shraga Feivish of Husiatyn, grandson of Rabbi Yisroel of Ruzhin. He succeeded his father’s position in Husiatyn beginning in 1884 and served in that capacity until World War I, whereupon he moved to Vienna. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1937. He was renowned as a prominent leader and earned respect from great leaders such as Rabbi Aharon of Belz, who called him a "Tzaddik who holds up the entire world."

Dated Tel Aviv, 1937.
