The Holy Admor Rabbi Menashe of Ropshitzwas the father-in-law of Rabbi Chananya Lipa Yom Tov Teitelbaum, author of the Kedushas Yom Tov, and Rabbi Yissachar Berish Eichenstein author of Malbush LeShabbos VeYom Tov.

Signed Letter from the Admor Rabbi Menashe of Ropshitz regarding the wedding of his daughter, Reitza, with Rabbi Eliezer Lipa. 

Addressed to the renowned philanthropist, Rabbi Betzalel Weinberger of Garlitz. 

A letter from Rabbi Shmuel Weinberger, seemingly the son of the addressee, is included on the back side of the letter.

The final line of the letter, as well as the signature are handwritten bythe Admor Rabbi Menashe himself.

Rabbi Menashe Rubin of Ropshitz (1795 – 1861) was the firstborn son of Rabbi Asher Yeshaya of Ropshitz, son-in-law of Rabbi Naftali of Ropshitz. In 1835, Rabbi Menashe succeeded his father’s position and his name spread for his exceptional love of all fellow Jews.
