Letter of appreciation and blessing signed by the Admor Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Chortkov.

The letter was written in 1929, while Rabbi Yisrael was residing in Vienna and is signed by the Admor himself.

Rabbi Yisrael of Chortkov (1854 – 1934) was the son of Rabbi David Moshe of Chortkov, son of Rabbi Yisrael of Ruzhin. Rabbi Yisrael was the first grandson to be named after his illustrious grandfather of Ruzhin. The Chortkov Chassidus blossomed under his majestic leadership, becoming one of the most esteemed Chassidic courts in all of Galicia.
