Rabbi Moshe Teitlebaum, known as the "Yismach Moshe" was the patriarch of the Sighet-Satmar dynasty. He was a leading respondent and holy Kabbalist, known throughout the world for his amulets. He served as the rabbi of Újhely and was the first leader of Chassidus in Hungary. Renowned for his piety, the Chassam Sofer himself requested his blessing and asked that he pray for his sons.
