Handwritten letter from Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz addressed to his student and friend, Rabbi Avraham Noach Plai, mashgiach of the Slabodka yeshiva in Chevron.

Rabbi Baruch Ber asks Rabbi Avraham Noach Plai to reach out to his son who was learning in the yeshiva at the time, and influence him with his Torah and yiras shamayim.

Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz (1862–1939) was a Torah leader in the generation prior to World War II. His lectures were renowned throughout Poland and Lithuania and many traveled across the world to hear his famed discourses. He was known for his deep concern for the well-being of each of his disciples. He authored Birchas Shmuel, one of the most prominent sefarim of the yeshiva world.
