First Edition Menachem Tzion: Novellae from the Holy Rabbi Menachem Mendle of Rimanov, Tchernowitz 1851

Recorded by His Prized Disciple, Rabbi yechezkel Paneth

Torah novellae on Shabbos and holidays from Rabbi Menachem Mendle of Rimanov, recorded by his prized disciple, Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth.
This first edition was published in Chernowitz, 1851.
Rabbi Yechezkel Paneth was the Av Beis Din of Karlsburg, known by all as the holy Mareh Yechezkel. He became a close disciple of Rabbi Menachem Mendle of Rimanov and carefully recorded his holy novellae, which were eventually brought to print in this
sefer. Rabbi Menachem Mendle himself did not author any
sefarim, and were it not for the Mareh Yechezkel. His Torah would have likely been lost forever.
