In this sefer, Rabbi Moshe ben Makir composed the text of Modeh Ani which is recited first thing in the morning by Jews throughout the world.

This holy sefer is mentioned several times in the writings of the Shlah, and is used as a source for practical Halacha in the sefer Magen Avraham.
Rabbi Moshe promises in his introduction that one who follows the directives of his sefer Seder Hayom will be beloved by Hashem, enjoy health, success in all of his endeavors, a long life and merit to see children and grandchildren.
