Letter of blessing handwritten, signed and sealed by Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Safrin of Komarna, regarding the publishing of sefer Chazaka Rabba.

Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Safrin of Komarna (1861 – 1929) was the son of Rabbi Eliezer Tzvi of Komarna, author of Ben Beisi and son of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik. Rabbi Yaakov Moshe studied by Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik of Ziditchov and Rabbi Chaim of Sanz and succeeded his father’s position as Admor in 1898.
In his eulogy the Minchas Elazar attested that Rabbi Yaakov Moshe possessed Divine spirit and that he was able to reveal things that the Minchas Elazar had done without anyone else’s knowledge. Rabbi Yaakov Moshe was renowned for his emotional and enthusiastic prayers and he would often pass out from the excitement. Toward the end of his life he resided in the city of Tatzmannsdorf, Hungary and was buried in Komarna.

Dated Tatzmannsdorf, 1928.
