Letter from the Birchas Shalom  Regarding Kashrus of Mikvah Including Detailed Sketch

Question regarding the Halachic status of a mikvah in the city of Zamość, from Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Hirsch Goldbaum of Grabowiec, addressed to Rabbi Malkiel Tzvi HaLevi Tennenbaum, Av Beis Din of Lomza and author of Divrei Malkiel.

The letter is dated Zamość, 1910, and includes a precise architectural sketch of the mikvah.
Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Hirsch implores Rabbi Malkiel to respond quickly, as there were women "from the new generation" who were lax in the mitzvah, who would hopefully come to this mikvah, ‘which is very clean’.”
Rabbi Shalom Tzvi Hirsch Goldbaum (1867 – 1941) was a son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Gedalya of Bichov, son of Rabbi Nechemia of Bichov, son of the Yehudi HaKadosh (holy Jew). He served as Rabbi of  Grabowiec, and authored Responsa Birchas Shalom.
