Rabbi Yoel Margaretten (1837 – 1909), Av Beis Din of Dieszag was the son of Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Margaretten, Av Beis Din of Abram, and author of Beis David. He served as Av Beis Din of Teleged, and later of Yahr-Diyusag upon the directive of Rabbi Hillel of Kolomyia. Beginning in 1884, he relocated to Erlau where he served as a Dayan until his passing. He published Torah novellae in Vayilkat Yosef. His sefer Divrei Yoel remains unpublished.
