Marriage certificate from the otat village in Morocco signed by the Baba Meir, Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira, during his tenure as Rabbi of Midlet, Morocco.
Rabbi Meir Abuchatzeira (1917 – 1983) was the son of the Baba Sali, born after ten years of childlessness. His father dedicated his life to teaching his son Torah from the day he was born and he was ordained at a very young age. He served for a time as Rabbi of Midelt and later as Rabbi of Arpod. He immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1965 and passed away in Ashdod. He is the father of Rabbi Elazar Abuchatzeira.
