Letter of blessing addressed to Rabbi Shalom Shotz of London upon the marriage of his daughter.

Dated 1929, the final line and signature were written by the holy hand of Rabbi Chaim himself.

Rabbi Chaim Hager of Attinia (1863 – 1931) was the son of Rabbi Baruch of Vizhnitz, son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Vizhnitz. Already in his youth he was recognized as an extraordinary genius and was rabbinically ordained at age thirteen by the prominant rabbinical figures of his time. In 1892, he was appointed Admor in the city of Attinia and served as president of the Kobina Kollel in Eretz Yisrael as well.
